Never! I like it poking up

What, we have to ride?

• #31
Nah, but you do have to bring a bike, so make sure you're booking an XL Uber.

I've never done a GSIAD, so looks like I'll have to do this one. But I'm coming on gears and in full kit. 2 bananas in the pockets, just in case.
-
• #35
In case of what, exactly? You're not planning on drinking banana daquiris are you?
-
• #36
I'm more of a Pina colada type of guy, but you never know, I'll be prepared for anything

The reopening of Hammersmith Bridge to cyclists is timed well for the LFGSS Bridges Ride:
"Following that, we will fully re-open the entire span of the bridge for pedestrians, cyclists and scooter riders. We hope to complete this by Spring 2025 at the latest. This means you won't need to dismount from your bicycle."

You can also cross at Barnes Bridge, if you carry you bike up the stairs:

Just wondering if this is absolutely going ahead, or some gathering on Saturday 15? I'd love to be there but live in Belgium now so will see if I can get a Eurostar that isn't extortionate. Just want to be sure that I'm coming for something before pulling the trigger. And I sadly won't have a bike, unless anyone can lend me one, so will be more up for drinks at the end.

Don't tell me: the dog ate your post?

the GSIAD which is what this thread is all about will definitely go ahead. but it is a bike ride taking in various forum pubs.
there should also be a Bridges ride also happening later on that Saturday.
I then believe there will be a gathering somewhere more central.
Be great to get you involved dude. i cannot lend you a bike unfortunately as don't live in London and will be coming in for the fun.
but maybe post up what size you are looking for and lets see if this amazing forum can deliver yet again

I sadly won't have a bike, unless anyone can lend me one
Someone on this thread - https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/401488 - offered to loan me a 56cm bike for the day. Can't find the comment right now, but I won't need it so if that's roughly your size then maybe take a look and hit them up.
