• After being in my possession for three years I have accepted that it is time to pass on this bike to someone who can give it the usage and love that it deserves.

You can find the thread for my July 2021 purchase of the bike here - https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/365779/

The original sale thread is here - https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/353030/

In a similar fashion to Ross I used the bike to complete the fast track accreditation at Herne Hill and then parenthood and a move out of London put paid to my dreams of being a track rider. It has been used at at most two dozen sessions in the last three years.

The bike is currently stored at Herne Hill Velodrome and ideally I would like to arrange viewings from there.

£975 looking to recoup what I paid for it.

Look made one short run of ~400 of these shiny beauties via pre order before mass producing the all yellow heritage models that followed.

  • Woahh - Amazing - GLWS

  • So pretty.

  • Very tasty. Has the front wheel been braked on?

  • Here it is again 🥰 good to see it stay in the forum

  • Sweet. Just too small. GLWS

  • I've only used it on the track.

@rossrobot said he took it on one loop around London, presumably it had a brake fitted for that.

I don't know whether @Retro_Bastard ever used a brake on it?

  • Thanks. I was mainly trying to see if the front rim had wear to the anodising from a brake. I can't tell from the pic. I see it had a front brake in previous iterations.

  • Ah lovely to see this back. I did a loop of London once and then rode it from penge to HHV and back a few times with the break on. Probably not more than 100km with the break.

  • I rode it brakeless for probably less than 100 miles the whole time I had it then fitted a front brake and lever for the sale and included a matching rear but not fitted and without a lever. It looks it's had little front brake use since I had it but the front did have very soft Kool stop pads so it's possible those stripes on the braking surface would clean off rather than it being wear to the anodizing if it's only done a lap of town. I've not seen another one of these out in the wild since. They didn't make many and very few made it to the UK

  • I'll have to give the rim a wipe next time I'm down at Herne Hill.

You built a beautiful bike. Worst case scenario I'll just have to hang it on a wall at home if no one takes it.

  • We've chatted about this; I am yet to win the euro lottery, otherwise would be in with a shot.

    Lovely, just lovely.
