As some of you may have noticed, I have been rather quiet on the organisation of the bridges ride and party.

I had been tangentially aware of the possibility of the emergence of "the collective" and the continuation of the forum, past March.

With the good news we have recently had, on that front, I propose that we just concentrate on the GSIAD that @jonny is doing such a good job of putting together. We can have a bridges ride later in the year when the weather is likely to be more clement.

Hope that doesn't ruin anyone's chips?

Suits me cos I'd like to do both and I'm not managing 40 drunk miles + bridges + party

Thing is, to me, this is the end of lfgss with velocio at the helm. Think something spectacular should be done to mark that. Something to celebrate/mark/thank velocio for their work.

As for would I organise a ride? No, as my attempts to organise a bridges ride, Saturday evening and waifs and strays have fallen on their arse.
