Finally finished. Bit too icy for a test ride and need something to secure the cable on the tt (maybe some artisan twine)
Might get some fat s and m tyres too

Love to see someone building a new bmx and going down that classic route. I've been saying for the last 10 years that I want to build my final BMX and do it properly by getting everything I want, which would include an S&M frame. Still haven't done it though. What have you done with the odyssey seat? I always really liked the look of those.

Two zip ties, or zip tie and spacer is great improvised cable routing hack in my experience

White shoelace for the hesh look, or a nice velcro strap

Ahh good choice. Get some pics of the Standard up when its back. I had a 2000ish STA500 a couple of years ago but sold it when I realised I'd probably never build it up. A 125R would from that period would have been my choice. I've still got a 00/01 Maas Barcode as well which I've been squirrelling parts for but I've started to loose momentum with that too.

Late to the thread but yeah - this bike is super sick. Jealous! Makes me want to build up one of my mine when I’m back in the UK.

I still have a 250L, an ox plat STA500 and a S&M Warpig kicking about at my parent’s house. I also had a MAAS barcode but sold it during the pandemic cause I was skint - a regretful decision.

I’d love a barcode, i think i remember seeing some bloke ride an orange terrible one back in the late 90s in an underpass in Wandsworth… did they do them in orange? Let me know if you want to move it on.
I currently have a 99 125r and an 01 ox platinum 125r I’m building for my daughter- will post up some pictures
