Cube?

Anyone got any experience of Cube's Attain range? Looking to build up a new disc bike with di2 parts I have kicking around and the entry-level carbon C:62 comes with a full 105 12-speed group (which I'd sell on).

Anyway, anybody have experience with the Attain carbon range?

I am looking for a new road bike and the Cube Attain SLX ticks most of the boxes (does it come in BIG size? yes. Does it have better than Sora gearing? yes. Does is cost less than £1500? yes.)

It was a coin toss between that or a Canyon Endurance 7.

Anyone with experience of the brand / model (or equivalent) care to tell me it is a fine choice? Or the opposite.

I bought a Cube gravel bike (the Nuroad C:62) about a year ago. Done about 3500km on it so far - mostly commuting and some 50-70km gravel rides I've been really impressed with the ride and the kit. Compares well to my Canyon Endurace which is my road bike, although maybe feels a bit less refined in some of the details. It cost a lot less though so value for money feels good.

Only let down has been the stock wheels - I keep getting loose spokes on the rear non drive side. A shame because the own brand hubs are pretty nice.

I still haven't decided on which to get, but I am notorious for upgrading (over time) so slightly shonky wheels are not a deal breaker for me, I would probably switch them out in due course.

I almost bought one but got a BMC roadmachine carbon frameset for 650 euros in black friday sales and the spares bin plus a few hundred more will get me a better bike.

Edit - Came across as negative, but they seem great value for money :)

Think stock wheels are always a weak point. I'll probably upgrade too, but hard to justify spending too much on what's mainly a commuter!

The own brand hubs are surprisingly good so might just get the rear wheel rebuilt
