• Basically, I'd like to get a few caps printed with a logo on the peak, I have the caps, and the logo, but I would need the rest of the stuff, and some expertise to make it look good! Obviously happy to pay, South preferred but have bike, will travel.

    Many thanks in advance!

  • Any pointers?

  • I use Vino Sangre (Norwich) for any screen printing. They're incredibly good and very reasonably priced! I've not asked them about caps before though. A mate runs another studio called Discordant Sun up in Leeds who is also very good and has definitely done cycling caps before.

Fifth Column are London based and supposed to be good but I've not used them myself.

  • When you say small project, do you know how many you need? Screen printing can be quite expensive per unit for smaller runs because there is a lot of work and expense involved in the set up.

I believe Fifth Column use a variety of different printing techniques so might be a good bet if it's a run that's too small to be screen printed at a reasonable price.

Edit: to be clear, I have absolutely no experience with printing but have been in bands making merch for years and years, as well as being the go to guy to sort stuff like uniform out at various jobs in the past. I would say I know marginally more about it than the average person but only because I've spent so much time asking actually knowledgeable people stupid questions. I'm sure there are others on here who knows loads more than I do!

  • Lots of places are doing bespoke embroided caps these days. Might be a better option for small batch.
Just need to send them a digital design.

  • Many thanks both, will investigate. Leaning towards screenprinted caps as I have some
NOS caps and thats the vibe, the small numbers may make it unworthwhile though!
