Sick fadez etc etc. Had this ages but by the time I'd almost finished it I had bought something else just a little bit more suited to my requirements. Build is mixed, but thought through, many NOS and new parts, lots of potential for more fancy bits/a different build.
Late 80s Orbit Frontier 450 Reynolds 531 frame and fork, U brake rear, canti front, 1" headtube, 2 x bottle bosses, rack and mudguard eyelets. Drivetrain is a mix of original Exage mechs, NOS 7 speed Shimano indexed shifters, Stronglight 86 BCD chainset with a 46/30 semi-compact double on a new Tange BB and 12:32 7 speed cassette with new aluminium Specialized flat pedals. These chainsets are super versatile as they can take 1, 2 or 3 rings, all the same BCD meaning you can triple up or run odd combos :-) Wheels are Shimano Deore XT M730 hubs laced to Rigida Rally 30 wide ally rims in good if not perfect order, tarnished spokes but mechanically good. Tyres are NOS Michelin Wildgripper City skinwalls, a little tread for those off-cycle-lane sojourns. Brakes are NOS Tektro cantis front, Shimano Exage U brake rear (with NOS pads), NOS 4 finger Suntour XCD brake levers. NOS Sakae TCO seatpost with a retro leather look saddle, original Exage headset, original stem, new Kalloy risers and DMR grips, rad bell, new Wald Medium basket in back with a Bernard Hinault (NOS, but not perfect) bag that fits in it nicely. Overall a sorted bike that you could commute on, lock up in London without too many worries, and take out touring at the weekend.
NOS parts: Outer chainring, inner chainring, brake levers, front brake, seatpost, tyres, rear pads (Deore XT ya know!), shifters, bell.
New parts: All cables, front pads, chain, cassette, Tange BB, grips, saddle, riser bar, Wald basket, security front skewer.
Seat tube = 17" centre to centre
Top tube = 22" centre to centre
£450 (or £400 without the basket/bag), viewing/collection in SE19.

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
