I have a giant tcx cyclecross bike but want to switch up the tires to something more pavement friendly. The tires are 700x33c all terrain. What would be some good options? And do I have to get 700x33c tires or can I get 700x32 etc?
Have a look in this thread
Liz has a TCX and runs 700x42 specialized sawtooths even though they are much bigger than the old 33mm cx tyres they are so much quicker/grippier and still have the ability to go anywhere.
If it’s just for road I think 28mm (corsa G2 are nice vs price) is the sweet spot. They’ll fit the standard rims so no worries there.
