  • Both bikes now sold

Have done some excellent Dad-Razzing on both these bikes but the new bike has overlap with both so they need to go. Collection in London or along Kent coast (towns between Rochester and Margate). Posting possible but it may take a few days to organise.

First up the Genesis in flattering Reynolds 725! 2016 model but the frame was maybe only ridden 600-700 miles. Clearance for up to 30c tyres and stock carbon fork. Would suit a rider from 5'5 to 5'8. About as good a winter training bikes get. I have ridden this bike so it's not showroom pristine but rolls very very well.

    Equilibrium specs
    R7000 105 170mm chainset - a little heel rub
    5700 shifters
    DA 7900 FD
    5700 RD (Brand new)
11-28 5700 cassette - only done a few hundred miles
Kinlin XR22 rims x Bitex hubs - loads of life left
PDW narrow mudguards (TNRC flap will stay with me, you'll get stock PDW flap)
    Fabric Radius Elite saddle
    Ritchey Neo Classic 40mm
Ritchey Classic seatpost and 120mm stem 6 degree rise (can replace with 110mm if you prefer)
TRP 957 long drop - these brakes slap
Room for a few spacers under the stem but not loads, previous owner was a little chop-happy.
    Will be serviced before sell

Next up 2017 Pompino in M. Geo chart

    Pompino specs
Hplus Son Archetypes x Surly Ultra New hubs flip flop rear hub
    White Industries Freewheel 21t
    FSA Orbit headset
Vittoria Terreno Wet 33c - loads of life left
Kinesis Pure CX Carbon canti fork
39t Shimano Alfine crankset with chainguard - so set up for 3/32 chains - definite heel rub on the DS crank
    Tektro CR720 canti brakes
    Fabric Radius Elite saddle
    Condor brake hoods / levers
    Deda 90mm stem
    Deda shallow drop road bars
    Basic black alu seatpost

  • Genesis is very classy, and the other looks like a hoot. It's just a shame you're so short.

  • If you're giving up fixies, I'm putting you on ignore

  • Ha no way! I am have just dumped more money into the road fixed!

New bike can be road bike and off road bike so these can safely go

  • N-1 from the man with 5 sheds: why?!?!

  • Both classy bikes, and would fit me, but I have no need. GLWS.

Pompino is bargainous with those wheels, theses frames really are versatile.

  • Phew. I want a disc version.

  • Bloody hell you're right. This frame gets newer with each post!

  • The pomp still tempts, but all the the caveats from 5 years ago still apply and I already have a warship grey fat tire fixed (see image, Allcity Dropout).
Somebody's getting a great deal. The hubs are also indeed very nice.
