Another mini clear out of stuff sitting redundant that's nice and should be being used....
Brand new Rival 11 speed 1x 42T chainring. Removed from a new bike. Includes the GXP spider adapter, but if you only need the chainring, it's 110bcd. £30 posted.
Giro Prolight SLX road shoes. EU43.5 UK9. Easton EC90 SLX carbon soles. Very light. Nice insoles with good arch support. They're just too narrow for my wide flippers. Used them as my best shoes for a while but haven't used them for a couple of years since I found wide fit specific shoes from Shimano. They're used, so the usual scuffs and scrapes but perfectly useable. £30 posted.
Specialized Power 143mm saddle. Bog standard model I think with regular round painted metal rails (I assume they're steel). I've used it on a road bike and an MTB. Works with both, but I prefer their Toupe, so this is redundant. £28 posted.
Renthal Lite Fatbar Carbon mid riser (20mm) mtb handlebars, 31.8mm dia. Used but never crashed or abused. A few marks from use, mainly where the stem clamps on, but they're structurally sound. Very light, 740mm wide, never been cut down. £60 posted. If I can find something to send them in :)
Wheels info to follow. And pics...
Hope Tech 35w wheelset. Pro4 hubs and Hope's own Tech 35W rim. I believe this wheelset is now rebranded the Fortus. 650b (27.5) 6 bolt, boost spacing, 15x110mm / 12x148mm bolt through wheels. Front hub is orange, rear is purple. The freehub is Shimano Microspline, so the latest 12 speed format.
Included with the wheels is a pair of WTB Ranger XC tyres. The front is 27.5 x 3.0" and the rear is 27.5 x 2.8", both are set up tubeless with tubeless valves. I think these tyres are excellent, surprisingly fast for XC/trail use but due to the volume you can run them at low pressures for masses of grip. They're the "light/fast" version.
The rear has seen less use than the front, but it has had a couple of punctures so there's a couple of repair "worms" that don't look pretty, but they do work. Both tyres hold their air. These wheels are really versatile and capable. I've used them for XC and trail use on my hardtail, but I've also got the 29er version on my enduro bike that only gets used in bike parks, so they can take abuse too. Would be great for XC/trail as they are, but could be equally good for enduro/park/DH use with more gnar tyres.
A couple of spokes near the valve on the rear wheel are a bit kinked near the rim (see image). I assume a rock strike has done this at some point. The wheel is very close to true still and strong. I've ridden it like this for ages and it's absolutely fine. The front wheel is perfectly true. The hubs spin smoothly and for ages and the freehub is perfect too.
There's a fair bit of tubeless sealant splatter on the rear rim and a few marks on the rims where I've hung a bike on a hook in the garage, but generally they're in great condition and work perfectly.
I don't have any wheel boxes currently but could probably deliver within a reasonable distance of Maidstone, Kent. PM if you're interested to see if we can arrange something mutually agreeable. Looking for £250 for them, otherwise I'll keep them and use them myself. Thanks for looking.
Oh yeah, some brand new WTB Nano 700x40c tyres. Not tubeless and they're the wired bead type i.e. not folding. So a great tyre tread, but a budget version of the tyre. £15 posted or I'll keep them as spares. Ta.
Dibs on the spesh saddle pending pics, my arse needs a change I reckon
Probably enough pics now...
Next in line for the power saddle if ojwithbits doesn't take it
