I said in the IS tab thread that I'd been thinking about doing this so I've drawn a few things up tonight and uploaded them to look at likely costs.
The T shaped thing is a coaster arm anchor tab. Probably nobody other than me will be interested in these!
These three pieces are all roughly the same price, the bmx dropout comes out slightly more expensive than the other items so I'll use it's price as being indicative of the others.
If I order 10 of each of these three items the dropouts will be about £3 each (this is for a single dropout so a pair would be £6 a pair, the other items would be £3 each or just under).
Increasing the order quantity to 20 of each brings the price for a dropout down below £2.50 each
That's cut from 5mm carbon steel. It's best if we can stick to one thickness as it reduces the cost per item. That said, I'd quite like some dropouts in 4mm. I've had them in both and find the 4mm material easier to get up to brazing temp so if enough people want stuff in 4mm then we can order some 4mm and some 5mm.
Let me know if you want long tang disc mounts, slotted disc mounts (I already have one drawn up) or anything else.
This is the slotted tab I'd drawn up, tried to make it a bit more universal than the one Ceeway sell.
I've used tabs like this for building racks, 5mm or even 4mm would be pretty thick for this though.
id be up for a few of everything except the coaster tab, soz no coaster brake frames in my future.
