I’ve got this otherwise great pinzat straps that are slippery on the underside due to the nylon seat belt material used.
Any suggestions of some sort of coating I could apply to make it rougher?
There's a perfect 2 step solution for this problem. 1) chuck in nearest bin. 2) buy leather ones.
Any suggestions for brands?
Christophe are fine at about £7 or £8 on ebay. If you're feeling rich Binda are superb but £50 plus!
+1 for Christophe, been using them for years, some of them in excess of 20 years!
I meant pedal straps not toecage straps.
Sew part of an inner tube to them?
Get some skateboard grip tape and stick it to the underside. Will probably destroy your shoes but the slipping would probably stop.
Sew some loop side Velcro to the inside of them.
Don't you just want grippier pedals?
Grippier pedals helped me with the same issue with fyxation straps
Yes griptape sticks very well to slippery seat belts
Brilliant idea, thanks guys
