  • Just picked up on this thead. This is really life-affirming stuff. Stay on it, guys!

  • Simply amazing stuff. Very envious.

  • Amazing photos. Glad to see you are both well and still adventuring. May all your rides feel like a gentle downhill grade.

  • such nice pictures, keep trucking.

  • Seeing the popcorn make me smile :) dreaming with you guys! Keep the pedalling on!

  • Those pics brightened up my morning sat at a UK office desk!

  • Love your updates. Keep on pedalling!

  • Rad! (Except the mud. DNW)

But how did you manage to get that baby llama to stay on your face for the photo? :P

  • Cheated a bit with the llama, we’re camped in a hostel garden and they have 3 llamas that live here. Hoping to see some in slightly more wild surroundings soon.

  • wow! amazing trip! TOP

  • Those landscapes are incredible

  • Thanks for all the comments, good to hear people are enjoying following along.

I forgot to say in the update that we crossed the equator, kind of arbitrary but it felt like a pretty big milestone.

  • Halfway marker. Innit?

  • A bit over half, we’ve ridden just over 14000km but took a long ferry in Alaska (skipped 2000km) and flew from San José to Bogotá (another 2000km saved).

We think we have about 10 months left now and I think we still have the best riding and scenery ahead of us.

  • Cheated a bit with the llama

He was referring to your beard!

saved 4000km. that's a bonkers number. just bonkers.

  • @moog has been forum beard champion for a very long time.

  • The altitude has turned my brain to mush, totally missed that one

Brutal headwind yesterday - riding from 8am-3pm and only made it 30km…

  • Thanks so much for sharing, and really good photos!

  • 8am-3pm and only made it 30km

    Holy moly!

  • Imagine if the equator was in America - there would be twenty shops either side of this road selling merch!

Great to follow along Edwin, please keep it coming.

  • Imagine if the equator was in America

    Technically it is.

  • I think we still have the best riding and scenery ahead of us.

    Patagonia is just mind blowing

  • Tell your boss your not coming in for 6 weeks, come to Ecuador, ride the TEMBR.
