I’m moving from a house with a garage to a flat with my partner. The conversation was had - bikes need to shift.
This is probably my least used but my most loved bike. It’s really zingy and fun to ride but I’m more interested in going off road at the moment so the Basso doesn’t really get a look in.
It’s a Columbus SLX frame 55cm square (iirc) - no dents or dings to speak of but a lot of age related marks as you would expect for a used frame of this age. The dropout adjusters need replacing too - just never got round to it.
Dura Ace 7700 (DA9000 cables) except for the 6600 (?) bottom bracket and the 600 brake levers.
Whilst not particularly period correct or flashy, the wheels are decent - hope RS on Mavic open pro rims. Nothing to report there, they do the job.
I’m listing for £800 collected from Bristol or I can post by arrangement within the UK only. I really don’t want to sell the bike, hence the price.
If I can’t sell it before the move on 31 May, I will sneak it into my parents’ garage next time I’m home.
Let me know if you have any questions or better pictures.
And some more
Pedals not included - Ti Litespeed post and Flite will be.
Love it. The size will be stamped into the BB shell if you want to check. Looks 1995-ish - after they ditched the internal top tube cable
Thanks for the info - I will check that out and update the thread.
Unfortunately, I’ve been rumbled and have been advised that I will get a slap if I don’t sell this.
With that in mind, any interest at £700?
