Never mind. Bit of cutting fluid and a new end cap and managed to straighten out the thread.

So, after some enthusiastic attempts at removal one side of the outer thread on the rear axle of my classic fixed hub is slightly flattened. A run with a die would sort things, can anyone confirm the thread diameter and pitch?
