The insurance press is reporting the following:
"Lloyd’s CEO John Neal is taking a leave of absence after being involved in a road traffic collision while out cycling over the weekend"
No further information is yet available.
Neal, who was appointed CEO of Lloyd's in 2018, has ridden some high profile charity rides. I very much hope that he makes a full and rapid recovery. I also hope that an accident involving such a high profile "mamil" can help push forward the agenda of safe cycling.
