Hey all, I've recently been volunteering doing delivery rides for Cambridge Community Kitchen
It's a collective offering free meals, delivered to anyone who needs them. It's a really cool organisation, in collaboration with The Lockon which operates out of the old Hopbine pub.
There's lots of info here:
I personally really like delivering and thought maybe other people here would like it too. There are also opportunities to help out with cooking, cleaning and admin if you would prefer, but for me the opportunity to ride around town for 2 hours, providing an obviously useful service and then generally getting a hot meal at the end of it is too good to pass up.
Happy to answer any questions but if you're considering doing some volunteering I highly recommend it, has been one of the best habits I started during the last six months.
