Another one from Cycling UK.
"Botallack tin mines, the Bronze Age monument Mên-an-Tol, Land’s End, St Michael’s Mount and Lizard Point"
"Expect spectacular coastal scenery" - I am in for this reason alone.
230km 4200m - so wont be easy but rewarding - lots of nice camping spots on the way. The beaches in the area are arguably some of the best the UK has.
Here's the route -
I've pre ordered the guide but I don't think I'll have a go until next spring at the earliest.
I’m doing it one go the weekend after. It’s only 230k so even if the terrain is tough it won’t be that hard.
question; how does Cycling UK make money out of this?
I think mostly from selling the guide book.
But they're a charity so don't really have to make money presumably?
Silly question perhaps but where does it start and finish?
Penzance I think.
I’m hoping it comes somewhere near me (Tywardreath).
ah ok, I mean if they are putting in effort for this they should get paid somehow charity or not ..
Route just dropped.
I know nothing about the area so... Looks cool? I guess the influencers who have already ridden the route will release some pieces soon.
236km 2984m according to RWGPS.
three week holiday starts in a week. tempted.
Three weeks is probably the ideal amount of time to ride it.
Seems a bit more technical and involved than KAW.
I'm going to perhaps have a go next spring.
It uses a a few footpaths that they are arguing that they are historical right of ways. This article is really interesting.
Oooo nice - thanks for sharing
Sure the ramblers will have something to say about that
little preview of the route. If you mute it it makes him more bearable.
His preview of the KAW was awful, but it was good to see the terrain.
he does sound the type of person you dont want to be sat next too for any length of time anywhere.
