And a Dawes Kingpin group day out :)
Did not know this was a thing, got to find one now
Calling in sick.
Yooooo these slap, the pink one with the basket 😎😎
These are so nice!
I saw a stripped down single speed Dawes Kingpin with a coaster brake and knobbly bmx tyres the other day which I haven't stopped thinking about since. Considering building one to replace my very ratty shopper which is objectively a horrible bike (I love it tho)
(Excellent thread so far)
I think my Pashley is very cool and practical. Also heavy.
Your shopper looks identical to mine. If you do any updates to it I would love to know about it.
Love an Elephant Bike; the only thing they're missing for ultimate grab-and-go utility is IMO full chainguards and dyno lighting.
ngl change the wheels (and the price) and this bangs
this is rad. Genuinely otp rad.
Thanks! I wanted to paint it but the girls were against and now i'm glad we left it as it is.
The slightly hidden one obvs…..
I've got a nice metal Velo Orange chainguard to go on at some point - just haven't got the right tools to fit it yet. Some of them did come with chainguards I think, but they were plastic and I've never been a fan.
And I've seen that some people have fitted dyno lights, but I'm happy with the tiny little set of LED Knogs that just go on whatever bike I'm currently using.
This is my currently most ridden bike. Fixed gear Triumph Twenty…
Awesome. But what pastry did you get?
Dark chocolate and orange Chelsea bun….
Oof. Good choices all round.
@flash what wheels have you got on there? Need some for my Kingpin.
