I'm looking for bikepacking routes in these countries.
Should be as offroad as possible, I love singletrack.
I want to ride a rigid or hardtail MTB, don't want "gravel" routes.
A bit of hike a bike here or there is absolutely fine.
Can be any length from 100km to 1000km.
So far I've found:
Two routes on bikepacking.com which look fairly exciting, both adapted hiking paths
Roslagsleden, from Stockholmm, 190km, looks good: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tiaisentoni/albums/72157679459804934
Forum trip? :-)
What’s the best way of getting to Denmark with. Bike?
Happyride.se is a swedish bike forum, there's a collection of trails here or you can ask for tips on the forum.
@t0-ster might have some tips as well
Roslagsleden can be done a loaded bike, but I'd def prefer to go somewhere else, it's bumpy, technical, overgrown, not that much fun tbh.
I've done most of the Swedish safari route, liked it alot. I'd go on a hardtail. Sörmland is lovely.
Gotland is great, I'm working on a route along the coastline, will be around 450 km, excluding Fårö. Mostly gravel thou.
