Not really much of a project, but I have just finished building this up. A slightly obscure early Ridley in Columbus Brain tubing, with a mishmash of Shimano 7700, 5500 and other bits and a pair of RS80 wheels. Topped with a Ti-railed Rolls.
This is intended to be close to the style and feel of the first proper road bike I had, a Pogliaghi made after Sante had died. It’s a lovely smooth ride so far.
That is rather pleasant. Those bars look huge on it.
Yes, pleasant sums it up well. Not flash, and cheap to assemble. Bars are Cinelli criterium 65-42.
