For sale is a Triban 3 from Decathlon.
Upgraded with Sora, Claris, and Mavic wheels. A great 1st bike, commuter, or training bike.
It's a size 54 so is a small to medium. It fits me , I am 5ft 7 1/2 and I'd imagine it would suit some any one between 5ft 5" and 5ft 8". I do have a shorter stem if that would suit you.
Looking for £270. Parts are all fairly new and little used.
I live in E10 and am afraid I won't post.
A rack and race guards are also available.
Hate to be that guy but you have little chance of selling that here for the asking price, a suggestion would be to lower the price (dramatically) or try eBay
Having seen other recent posts it might be a bit optimistic.
So, a price drop £230
These have gone for £100-150 on here in the past, I think you are still a fair bit over on price tbh
Thanks for your helpful comment.
Note that it's been rebuilt with a new groupset and Mavic wheels .
It came with Sora originally though, right? At least mine did. I sold mine on here for £150 with some lovely Team Vision 30 wheels, and I thought that was a fair price
It's worth more than £150 if you split the bike up.
No, didn't come with Sora. It was a mixture of Microshift, Shimano and a heavy triple.
This one has a new 8 speed Sora/Claris group set, new cables, chain and Mavic Askium wheels.
So all the refurb work has been done.
£130 would have been a more than fair price it still had the original parts and it had been well ridden. This one hasn't been out for 2 years and was little used before that.
So it's a fair starting price. Not dissimilar to some on eBay.
Triban 3 with newer / lighter than yours aksiums w/ claris and they look like sora brakes? for £40 recently... looks like spd's and pump also included w/ free local delivery.
And your point is?
I think our point is that your price point is too high for a bike released in 2012 at an RRP of £299, regardless of how "new" it is, or upgraded the parts are.
I know, but life is too short.
