Been told by lbs, that my campag centaur 10spd shifters are knackered, so looking for some 10spd record or chorus ones to replace.
If you’ve got some you want rid, let me know.
Just a thought - year one cycles in Cornwall can refurb most ergos. Had a pair of 2006 Centaur 10sp that had done 13 years of cross and road refurbed, great job and cheaper than a s/h set. The ultra 10sp centaur shifters are in high demand. Cost me about £60+postage. My left ergo is now pretty much a record inside:)
A mismatched pair here but work absolutely fine https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/363386/#comment16015935
Power shift tho
@cornelius_blackfoot I have some 10 speed Chorus shifters.
Older style (slightly smaller) hoods - not sure if that's what you're after?
Send me photos via pm, if you have them. I’m interested in any of the ten speed chorus/record shifters..
@cornelius_blackfoot, have you got plans for your knackered shifters? Basically I'm in need of a handlebar clamp for chorus shifter. In case you (or anyone else) might be able to recycle one from an otherwise defunct shifter that would be hugely welcome. And I'm happy to pay of course!
I have no plans, so sure you can have the replaced centaur set. Will speak to lbs when they swap them over so they’ll keep the bits you need..
That would be really kind. Thank you so much! For reference, it's literally just one of these that I need:
I've probably missed the boat on this, but if you've still got the knackered shifters I'd be interested in them - following a crash I could do with 10sp Ergo bodies and various external bits. I'd rather cannibalise than simply replace if I can.
Obviously money/donation/whatever ...
Haven’t swapped them over yet, will drop you a line when I do.
Appreciated - thanks
