Selling this lovely Bridgestone Anchor from the 80s/90s due to a clear out. It's in great condition and only one small dent on the top tube (see pictures). Collection from E2, or can organise delivery.

What's the difference between this one and the one for sale on Hilary Stone for £285?

It's the same frame, I bought it from him for more than the £285 quoted on the site.

So the price went up then

I paid a higher price and fitted a new BB and headset, if you're interested PM your offer

How much you paid for it? And what bb and headset?

I paid £308, the headset is a Tange Levin which was fitted locally and the BB is a Shimano (106mm if I remember correctly)

£308 frame + £20 headset + £20 BB = £450?

Price has gone down £150 in the last hour, it'll be a bargain in a few hours I reckon.

Lol not in to any njs frame anyway, ive owned a nice one before and sell the full bile very cheap, not a good move though, you lucky if you sell that for 250 im just being honest

Dude you can put in an offer of whatever if actually want to buy the frame and we can talk about it. I put it at that price after looking at what other NJS frames tend to go for but if it's too high the fair enough, if someone is interested then we can talk

That's a lovely looking setup man, shame it only got 250 with sugino's and all the rest. I'm just feeling out what people are willing to pay for it so if anyone's got offers then give me a shout

You can ask what you want but remember the classifieds on here has always acted as a counterpoint to the blatant price gouging on other platforms like eBay etc as there’s enough users on here to know the value of such things.

If you were selling that frame on here in 2010 you’d have sold it for £450 in about an hour after posting. Njs is just a bit more niche than it was a few years ago.

I don’t know exactly what it’s worth but I know you won’t get a penny over what you paid and probably a bit less. You’ve already been caught out trying to profiteer on here.
The headset and bb are generic so not likely to add any value(if anything they might devalue it as the buyer might have to factor in having them removed so they can fit ones to match their build). @AlphaOmega value of around £250 sounds about right. If it was in a bigger size it’d be easier to sell as well I’m sure.
Bear in mind Hilary charges the upper end of full price already as he’s running a business not selling to peers so you already paid well above what the majority would be willing to pay for it. So chucking a £150 on top just cos you feel like it makes you look shifty.

If you want the best possible price then take some really nice pictures and description and put it on eBay.
Of course everyone on there looking at njs frames is likely to have seen it on Hilary’s site as well...

Why not ride it?

Very easy

Take a proper photos including all theee damage paint, ding etc brand of the headset and bb and thats it, like i said you wont sell that on here for over 250 because it has a dent, making a profit on here wont work my friend, try to observe first before making an action we’re not born yesterday and almost everyone has access on the internet im not trying to hijack your thread but in reality wake us up….

I strugggled to sell my Umezawa with a Columbus max fork sans dents for £430. Slightly off piste geo but I was surprised it didn’t sell for what I asked.

Around £200 is what I’d pay personally. This is just my 2p’s worth and GLwS but what others have said above is right. You won’t get more than what you paid for it...
