Well the hope is that if the hub brake is still in working order to stop with that alone, I’ll be turning an old Peugeot frame I got off the forum into a bit of a town cruiser/klunker!

Ah. Okay. I think this might be a problem: The teeth on the end of each hub suggest that these are used with a Shimano Nexave rollerbrake. The hubs in that wheelset are (unless I am totally mistaken) rear: 3-speed Nexus IGH, front: Power Modulator (which I think is a way to make the front rollerbrake more user-friendly when sudden force applied).
So to get these working, you’re looking at getting two rollerbrakes and a frameset with fork/rear stay loops to attach the rollerbrake arm to. And non-turn washers for the dropouts too. Oh, and a bell crank and shifter to control the rear 3-speed!
Of course, you could use these with rim brakes, but that defeats the point.
That said, looks like it’s in really good shape - the Nexus 3 on the back is definitely worth having a play with.

Thanks for the information @vilms5000 I only picked up the wheelset just for the tyres . Got them free from a guy at work.

Oh sweet! Thanks for all the info! I shall definitely look into the roller brake sheldon brown page! Definitely still do able then maybe just a little tinkering with my frame. The added 3 speed internal could be pretty fun to play with aswell!
Even for the rims it’s still great as I could rebuild the rear up with some new spokes and a coaster brake anyway on the cheap!
Definitely pissed on this bonfire for now ;)
