This morning's Peak District bimble, looking south east(ish) from Tegg's Nose.
I could/should have taken more, some stunning views today, made more interesting by the shadows cast.
Was a beautiful day to be out on a ride.
A regular occurrence on the local bridleways, discarded cannabis plants.
With a fish & chip finish
Small bit of planet earth, allegedly.
Thanks. Looked almost exactly like that in person. Ride inspiration? I did wheelie off the slag!
Thankyou , it’s a nice spot , a swim and then a ride on the promenade to a Roman fort the other side of Herne Bay
@pullingteth, what do you think of this? Slight crop and horizon alignment makes a world of difference imo. Nice frames though!
I think I would have tried to let the line of the sidewalk run end in the bottom right corner. Let the linework do the talking.
Much better , thanks for the advice .
I hadn’t noticed the horizon was out of whack .
I’m a big fan of a crop too , I just didn’t take the time , but it’s a better photo for that work thanks
Went out and ended up doing accidental bridal way bits was fun.
love this sort of impromptu-ness riding
tons and tons of Michaelmas daisies out yesterday (London > Luton > London loop).
Nice shot , it couldn’t look less like a Luton London loop that I pictured
Bit late to the party but here’s a shot from the spring, to remind us of the better times as the chilly nights now draw in.
Last Sunday's Prosecco Cycling gran fondo - last one of the year I reckon
Where is that? Looks volcanic.
Good spot! Lanzarote.
Nice. How’s the MTBing there?
I’m off to Tenerife the end of this month and wondering if I should take the gravel bike instead of the road bike like the last time I went.
It is pretty good, nothing outrageous but miles of remote trails. I have ridden road and off road here and off road is much better.
We are getting the ferry to Fuerteventura next week, I have plotted some decent looking trails over there.
I would take the gravel bike over road bike but have some decent tyres because the trails are fairly unforgiving here.
Some recent late summer rides
