Buy a basic lockring like the Halo, Surly, Gusset, Sturmey Archer ones, they’ll be the one you want. They will have 1.29x24 tpi stamped on them. They’re left-hand thread, yes. Your hub will be too. You’re over-thinking this.
The other standards are French (almost unobtainable) and a type known as Campagnolo (used by some other awkward manufacturers too). If the one you’re buying doesn’t say ‘French thread’ or ‘Campag thread’, you’ll be fine.

cheers, what is it like skidding with their hubs, is it safe to skid with them a lot?

proprietary system works well, haven't touched the cog / lockring in 6 yrs
recently bought a White Industries flip flop hub and want to make it fixed wheel. On White Industries site it says i need a "standard English 1.29 x 24 tpi threaded lock ring." to use with their splined cog. However with lockrings they're usually Left handed thread, where can i find the right lockring?
