Why doesn’t the ad state the salary?
What does ‘competitive’ mean?
Hi Andy, I am interested in a position as a field mechanic and have a few questions.
Are part time positions possible? Whats the minimum skill/experience level required? Do the mechanics use vans or bicycles?
Please be transparent and up front about the wage you're offering.
"Competitive rates" and not mentioning the hourly rates are red flags which usually mean shit pay. Not being clear wastes people's time and energy applying for a job which can turn out to be a waste of time if the pay is bad.
Be clear and up front with the pay or gtfo
Competing in the race to the bottom would be my guess
Make it a rule the job ads have to come with pay rates ? Or they get deleted.
Too many people seam to think to work for no pay is ok.
As well as salary would be good to know working hours and where abouts in London the job is based.
It seems like everyone now looking for a mechanic. I know at least two places that I can recommend, let me know if you're looking.
Any similar head mechanic jobs?
Might be interested if you could PM any info
Hit me up with that. Might be interested.
The salary range is £26-29k depending on experience
Hey - yes, we do have PT positions available. We typically look for cytech level 2 or equivalent. Mechanics are warehouse based whilst lockdown restrictions continue (just a business decision we've taken that we don't want to expose our mechanics to lots of people) but when they are lifted mechanics use e-cargo bikes. Hope that helps. If you're interested then ping us your CV to email@example.com
