Selling my beautiful Dolan FXE bike. Was riding with it for 4 years. You can see some damage on a fork which I did around 2 years ago. Don't have enough time changing it. My advice is changing a fork. Also missing one spoke. Has some scratches on a frame. Overall bike rides smoothly. Can add a professional pump and a lock
doesn't affect cycling.
doesn't affect cycling.
That fork is a write off and looks 100% deathtrap.
Served me well for the past years. Maybe I'm just lucky
Yeah that's bad, no way you should be selling that and claiming it's fine.
Should I remove a fork and sell it without it?
Your call. I wouldn't want to be responsible for someone face planting.
close the thread or get a new fork for it.
wow making me shudder just looking at it
Changing your description doesn't cut it. It only takes 1 person to think it's ok to use that fork and have a serious accident. Take some responsibility for it and remove it.
Holy shit please do not ride that bike anymore
lol - can we get a little credit ?
also - whats a professional pump?
I know right :D
I have took advice from you and after My consideration I'm giving advice for a customer.
I thought we were a team. No I's in team!
A sturdy metal one
That's my first post. I'm learning
cool. Well if you have been riding around for two years on that fork - go get a lottery ticket. You are very lucky :D
Looks to me that that fork is one deep pothole away from rider needing new teeth.
Also not a Pre-Cursa; it's an FXE
Please change the title if it's an FXE.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the buyer 🙏🏻
A friend of mine took this. Rest assured all suspect parts will be replaced.
you and your friend should do a few "tests" on the boggey fork.
See if you can break it with your hands or give it a few bashes with a rubber mallet! would be interesting to see how long it lasts.
