FS: clear out, track wheels, stems n' stuff

  • My "oh crap, my motorbike if fooked and I got to go back to work on the 12th April thread. If pics don't work I'll work it out, be patient I will reply, dibs are nice and all but I got to pay for a motorbike repair sharpish so eventually cash/PayPal will win.
Everything is in kt9, I'm in sg14 but will be in kt9 on a Friday every fortnight.
Will post at your cost 2nd class Royal mail signed for or cash on collection. RM have a handy cost calculator on their site I'll try and link to later.

Time is short, I'll add to this over the weekend.

Caveat, I've been off the track for a couple of years and my memory sketchy, if prices are far out talk to me but equally nobody wants to be mugged.

Pair of track wheels Inc glued on tubs. Done some LVV sessions (so no, they don't slip on't wood) but mostly HHV - a season of racing and a few training sessions. Hubs lovely and smooth, plenty of life in the tyres. They're Bontrager R4 tubs 23c, nameless hubs, probably sealed... One might be a Charge? Mavic GP4 dark grey ceramic rims, no brake track etc. Tubs are racy and thin! Not suitable for mad skidz, hold air at mad pressure for a day and will completely deflate in about 4 days. Both the same, both always have done... I've put it down to the lightness of the tyre, not a slow leek - I am not an expert. Will clean up before collection so just a vinegar wipe before hitting wood again.
There is a 14t sprocket (can't see the brand) and a dura ace njs lockring on there, I don't have the tools to take them off so will ship with the wheel unless I find one. Threads will be good. No track nuts for the front (unless I find some)
Will also Inc wheel bags, good condition Wiggle ones.

Gotta run, I'll edit and add more items to this... Thomson x2, Tange lugged stem, chrome track cranks, halo beater wheel, chain rings, sprockets, cut risers, alloy aero bar setup...

  • potential interest in tange stem pending specs.

  • Any chance of a weight on those wheels?

  • Yeah interested in tange stem too

  • Interested in the wheels!

  • Not "light" by modern standards, I can try and weigh myself with and without the wheels and split the difference. I was riding them on a steel Bob Jackson so by no means a weight weenie.

  • Dropped you a message, need to check the length (will do Sunday)

  • OK, i’ll pass then- ta!

  • Still available.

    Thomson X2
    100mm / 17° / 31.8mm / 1 1/8
Will ship with original bag, however this was used as my track tool bag so is pretty mucky. I'll leave the No Gammon sticker on unless otherwise requested.

  • Andel copy fluted chrome track cranks. 165 square taper 144bcd. Can't remember the BB length required. Installed once, left on for years, taken off when sold the frame. Tapers are all good, some light scratches. Think they have only ever had one set of pedals installed too, good threads.
