My partner is making me do a bit of spring cleaning and after seeing how hard it is to buy a new bike at the moment we’ve decided to part ways with two of our unused bikes (I imagine this is just the start) :(
We’re in SE14 and happy to accommodate viewings but we’re mindful of the pandemic and would only do so in a safe way.
First is my partners new(ish) bike (ladies Boardman ADV 8.8, size Medium 50cm) bought during the first lockdown with the idea of replacing her original road bike. After almost a year now she has realised that she will only use her original bike as it has sentimental value. This bike has done 10 miles MAX. Should have the owners manual here somewhere.
We fitted Continental GP5000 tyres which are expensive, I still have the original CX tyres which would be included in the price.
Originally the bike was £800 and the tyres around £50/each. I’m looking for £600 considering it’s pretty much new I think it’s a fair price but I’m happy to consider reasonable offers. There are one or two small marks from storage but it’s clear that it’s not been used.
The second one is my Pashley Guvnor. Beautiful classic bike, single speed 22” frame, for reference I’m 5’10. This is the medium size as they only make 20” 22” and 24”. I think I still have the manual from when I bought it. It has a new chain with no miles on it and a surly chain tug.
Used but in good condition, RRP around £800 when I bought it 5 years ago. As this bike is older and has been used looking for around £300 but again open to hearing offers.
Will try to upload some pics shortly but can WhatsApp them easily if there’s interest.
Thanks for looking.
Might suit your friend?
Am I mistaken or has Pashley 3 speed SA at the back?
They did single or three speed. This is SS.
They now do the ‘speed 5’ too.
That Guv’nor is beaut and oh so tempting!
@lancelothamlyn sent you a dm about the Pashley Guv’nor is it still available?
Hello Rob. Yes it’s still available, your dm came through first so you can have first refusal. . .
Just replied to your message

Robbie bee has the Pashley. Collected tonight. Just the Boardman left now. Any ladies out there or girlfriends of users?
