Good price for both of these.
If I was local I'd have taken the Tannoys - glws!

I’d like to say now that I’ve never driven either of these speakers ridiculously hard since I’ve owned them they’ve both been on relatively low listening volumes, always.
They have been tested with good quality equipment at a reasonable volume and sound spot on, both pairs speakers very open and clear in all ranges with plenty of sonic mustard.

Both pairs are believed to have been owned by a hifi enthusiast before I came to own them. They are both very good sonic conditions, I doubt they’ll be any disappointment.

As long as the Tannoy speakers aren't damaged (blown or damaged surrounds), they will sound good.
Few easy tips, searchable on the internet, will bring the veneer up. Or re veneer to match what you have.
Good luck with the sale.

Yes probably a bit of varnish, it’s not that serious markings that you’d need to veneer them again. It would be workable without much fuss.
Both speakers perfect no damage to cones or surrounds on either the Technics or the Tannoy. Cross overs perfect as well. They sound spot on.
Hopefully someone will buy them and enjoy them, that’s what I’m hopeful of. It’s a genuine sale and I’m not passing on junk or things that might be irreparable.

Was more saying reveneer if you want them to match what you have.
70s veneer is quite tough, used briwax in the past to make the veneer come up like new. Had a pair hooked up to a leak delta 30 amp and they were lovely.
They are great speakers.

Two, nice pairs of vintage speakers for sale with collection from Kilburn by social distancing...
Firstly seen on the tops of the Tannoys...
Technics SB-R2 (made in Japan)
8ohm 65w (100w max) good working order, tested. Cabinets are only few blemishes and have the grills but one of them is slightly faded or could perhaps be dirt related to storage conditions, the pegs that usually break on speaker grills are perfect no damage. Very rare and lovely set of capable speakers that I’d like £85 for please.
Next up..
Tannoy T125 (British) Circa 1979 working perfectly and lovely (amazing) sounding full and rich. No grills for these unfortunately and few marks on cabinets though still presentable and probably restorable! The cones and cross overs are perfect, these have banana plug ins in them. They come with a lovely set of Target stands. I’d like £165 for these please speakers + stands.
The collection is Kilburn NW6 near the Jubilee trains, you’ll definitely need a vehicle for this as I don’t see either of these fitting in a messenger sling bag anytime soon.
