Well i have a little project for someone who knows what they are doing, i don't.
It concerns how the shops website displays prices for u.k mainland and rest of the world customers come jan 1st.
There are a couple of other things as well but this one is the most important.
The website need to show on any product page two prices for example
£ 50 inc VAt for U.K mainland customers
£41.60 ex vat for rest of the world
At checkout based on delivery address the website will add vat or not. It can already do this.
The website prices will be set to be exclusive vat. Vat then gets added at checkout for u.k delivery address rather than removed for rest of the world delivery addresses.
What the site can't do is display both prices it can only show exclusive of vat if vat get added for u.k delivery addresses. This of course would lead lead to a drop in conversion rate as people don't like surprises.
Do you know if you are using an ecommerce platform like Shopify?
If you are the thecycleclinic.co.uk you are using Shopify. It is best to find someone capable of configuring/customising that platform to help.
Is there a good reason not to use the original people who did the site for you?
Yes shopify. Shopify don't do this work. You have to hire someone. The problem is who.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
