For sale is this Spa Cycles Audax F&F.
Bought from here, from the very lovely @fizzy.bleach this was for a project which never came to fruition.
Here is a link to the original sales thread:
I want to recover what I paid, which is £175.00
Collection from either SE10 or E1
What tyre clearance can this accommodate?
Gone, subject to payment and collection.
Why not have a look at this:
gah I was thinking I should never have sold this!!! enjoy whoever got it
Jingle Jangle opens his war chest, @amey, and all of us quiver. Especially galling as everything he sells is 2 cm too big for me, generally.
You've had some lovely stuff out this week which, conversley, is all about 2cm too small for me.
Probably a good thing when you think about it.
I have one of these, I’m not selling it as it rides beautifully.
Someone buy this as it’ll be a top ride for winter miles!
@Jingle_Jangle great to meet you earlier - and thanks for the swift dealings. Already had the odd envious glance as I cart the frame around on my back! Cheers
Sorry to derail thread but as someone else asked, can anyone who owns this say what the rear tyre clearance is like? I know spa say 28mm with guards but anyone tried more?
@oheyitsdrew In the interests of science - these are 32mm tyres in the frame.
No guards to hand to work out further clearance but looks fairly roomy
Oh thanks for the pic!
Ye it does look roomy, I reckon I could probably get a 42mm guard and 30mm tyre in there.
