Campy cassette cog compatibility, 10 and 11 speed

Posted on
  • I've got an 11-32 11s campagnolo cassette and I'm finding the spacing a bit annoying, specifically the fact there's no 16T, it goes 11-12-13-14-15-17-19...etc
I'm never in the 11T so rather than buy a new cassette I was thinking of removing it and popping a 16t in between the 15 and 17. Does anyone know if the cogs are narrower for 11speed? or are they the same as 10s, the cassettes just have narrower spacers?

    Cheers
    Simon

  • They are different, but only by 0.1mm. But you'd also have to use a different 12T sprocket as it won't have the notches in the face for the lockring.

  • Ah, hadn't thought of that, may just look for a s/h cassette so I can mix and match
