Moving my Waterford 1200 frame on. Not ridden much as I bought a Scapin shortly after which fits me better. Size is 55cm square IIRC. I believe it's Reynolds 753OS/753R owing to the externally butted seat tube and oversized downtube. Reynolds Ouzo 1 inch threaded fork and Campagnolo Record headset. I regreased the headset but it is still slightly notchy so could probably do with new bearings. Stainless Henry James dropouts. Brass downtube cable adjusters fitted. I'll include 3 seatposts in the sale: an American Classic one, a Campagnolo aero number (both cut short) and a cheap but functional polished Kalloy SP-248. Factory 5 Titan stem and Ritchey Neoclassic bars are also available.
Other things to note:
Limited to 23mm tyres under the fork. I've had a 27mm Open Pave in the rear with no problems though the tyre has to be deflated to remove the wheel (this applies even with 23s).
Imported from the US earlier this year. Some minor chips and chain slap (pictures to follow) but generally very good. It's evidently never been ridden in the wet or on salted roads.
Woah, thats a beaut! Shame its too small, GLWS.
Man 57 and I’d have had it! GLWS mate, I’m sure it won’t hang about too long. T
4 seatposts and I would’ve had it. Shame.
But seriously, interested in TT and especially HT length
Thanks man, did think of you when I listed it.
Ah forgot to mention - it takes a 27.4mm seatpost. I'll check dims for you.
This is gorgeous! GLWS.
@D_Mars ST 53.5cm C-C, 55cm C-T. TT 55cm C-C. HT 12cm.
Photos attached. Couple of chips, worst are on the left seat stay, top tube and fork blades above the dropouts. Outer layer of paint has flaked off on the underside of the fork crown. It’s not visible when a brake is fitted.
More photos available on request.
Dropouts are pure sex! Probably big for me sadly..
Naughty. Wish it fit me.
God I wish this was bigger.
Me too. Someone hopefully will snap it up.
Just run a 130 stem...
