Might have one of those Topeak jobbies that lower the bottles a couple centimetres if that'll do the job. Will need to see if I can find the mounting bolts.

Thanks
Is it the "Alt mount" or whatever it's called? I think that's only a slight drop, like 20-30mm. She's got room on her frame to drop it maybe 60mm.
If it was a notched/slotted one instead of fixed holes, I could stick it on the seattube to lower that bottle 10mm maybe but it's the downtube bottle that's really high at the moment.

Since this is about getting luggage onto her bike, side entry cages might also be useful so if anyone has some Lezyne cages lying around...

Thanks but no thanks. I know most of the stuff we buy is already made overseas but I don't need to directly contribute to individual imports. Also, I don't like people ripping off other people's designs. Lanshan vs. Zpacks prices though I might be willing to concede one.

Also , I don't like people ripping off other people's designs.
I have an untried and untested selfdesigned cagemover I had cut out of stainless steel when I was ordering a batch of bookends, one hole needs to be tapped to M5 though. Let me dig up a picture.
The lower two bolt to the frame and the upper hole can be tapped to M5. Moves the cage ~60mm, I can drill it to 4.2mm for you so you'd 'only' need to run through a tap but I have no idea how easy that is. Would be happy to chuck one in an envelope, never got round to using them.

I don't have a tap/die set. Might be useful for later on when I can get hold of someone with more tools but I'm looking for a solution for this weekend (assuming the weather holds).
I could go full framebag on my bike and then give her my dropper but I may just end up paying the fucking ridiculous £20+ asking price for a piece of drilled metal from Sigma Sport.

You know, the strip of alu or plastic the lowers the position of a bottle cage.
Anyone want rid of one?
Also looking for front roll bags, saddle bag, maybe bigger framebag for the missus.
