I've got a VAR PE-12600 (I broke my Park Tool when attempting to remove an Athena crank).
You're welcome to borrow it - I'm based in N1.
PM if interested.

It's not very pro-shop, but I just use an ordinary puller. Back the big allen bolt off a few turns and use it to apply the thrust from the puller. Just need a washer or a coin to cover the Allen bolt first. Wouldn't do it on carbon though.

Thanks that’s helpful.

Ah I didn’t think about turning out the bolt a bit to leverage off that.. I have a bearing puller myself, just not the plug..
I can’t see it being an issue with a carbon crank since that’s essentially all the park tool tool does just with something to protect the back of it...

Does anyone have a park tools or similar set for pulling off these damn crank arms. Power torque campag Athena set
Find it totally ridiculous that you need so many tools to dismantle and put back together..
