  • You took your dropper off you lunatic. Best MTB inventions ever, Discs, dropper, suspension in that order.

  • Ah it’s an xc racing bike and I’m not racing World Cup level courses. The right thing to do would be to build an enduro bike around it.

Neil might have a few spare parts you could buy...

  • Summer/race wheels on for the first round of the local league on Tuesday, a 26km out and back ITT. Wasn’t pleasant, but managed 3rd in the road bike category and 11th overall, out of 47 riders.

Happy enough with that given the patchy training since baby number 1 arrived in January and covid late March.

  • 1200w start to a TT! Genesis looks great, and glad you're riding well

  • 9 months on, genesis completely unchanged (including cables), Scott xc bike moved on due to lack of xc races, but three new bikes added…

  • First up, Wilier alu snotter - new groupset on the genesis freed up the majority of a bike, minus frame, so I picked up a tatty old frame to build up a turbo bike (that ironically hasn’t seen the turbo yet due to bike number 2)

  • Number 2, boardman air tt - to facilitate my questionable foray into triathlon (hasn’t left the turbo since I got it). Has had carbon sram red cranks fitted, and needs a nicer cockpit with adjustability.
