I’m selling this lovely carbon frameset, I will be really sorry to see it go but I have too many bikes and it’s not being ridden much any more, so I would like to find it a good home. I bought it new in 2011 but have only ridden it regularly for the last couple of years in its current build as shown, it has done five or six thousand km at the very most and has plenty of life left. It has been well looked after and is in excellent condition, it has a few very superficial marks but no big scratches, dents, cracks or other damage.
It’s wonderful to ride, geometry is just right, and it’s not overly stiff. Handling is fantastic and it can be built quite light. It is a very easy frame to work on with no troublesome quirks: it has external cables, BSA threaded BB, and a straight 1 1/8in alloy steerer. It will easily take 28mm tyres at least, I didn’t try any bigger.
The bike was well reviewed at the time with praise for its geometry, handling and ride quality and criticism only for the spec of the complete builds. Some of these frames were recalled because of a fault in the fork but this is definitely NOT one of them!
Frameset is size small, geometry is below. I am 5’6”, i used an inline seatpost and 90mm stem. I think it would fit anyone from about 5’4” to 5’9”.
Seat tube (H) 50cm
Top tube (L) 52.5cm
Seat tube angle (A) 74.5*
Head tube (H1) 11.5cm
Chainstay (L1) 40.5cm
Head tube angle (A1) 72*
Seat tube (C/C) 45cm
I will be taking the bike apart if and when there’s any interest, until then it’s staying in the shed as it is. When I strip it I can update with weights for frame and fork and more photos. I am including a few hardly used, Wilier branded bits and other components that originally came with the bike.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
