what have you been smearing it on for the past 37 years?
actually, some questions best left unanswered.
Bread. Hadn't (that I know of) tried it on toast till yesterday.
Today’s pre-rode brekkie. Top, Whole Foods, bottom Meridian.
Left half butter and PB, right half butter, Vegemite and PB.
Hmm. The Whole Foods is my usual choice, but is noticeably drier that the Meridian. Slightly saltier. Meridian is more oily, with larger chunks of peanut. I’m veering towards favouring the newcomer, tbh.
The Vegemite-base half, even thinly spread, seems to take away from the PB taste. I’m already thinking I prefer it without.
Batch 2: roasted a bit longer. Colour much better.
Also a PB and chocolate 'dirty bun' from the local bakery.
Where is this local bakery?
Roath in Cardiff. Friends in Knead, amazing pastries.
M&S peanut butter in my porridge this morning.
Unholy combo of oats, raisins, peanut butter and maple syrup.
Maybe a bit far... But you've given me an idea for my next bake.
Just made a batch of @dbr frozen PB and banana.
Just did this.
Added a large tablespoon of ahem Nutella.
I think I now have potassium poisoning.
Toast, butter, PB, tahini, honey. Thank me after breakfast.
Made the cookies from that guardian recipe. Only problem was local shops only had Sun Pat.
Cookies are giving me diabetes. So much sugar in the sun pat.
Sambal, kecap manis, peanut butter (if you can’t be bothered to grind your own), garlic, tamarind paste and lemongrass.
Usually pics smooth (with butter on toast obvs) but this is great for a change
Meridian rich roast, bit of flora, bit of Sainsbury's own brand knock off marmite on a sesame bagel. Banging.
PB and marge? You heathen >>>
If you’re going to add some extra fat, use some proper sea salt studded butter.
Like Buerre D’Isigny
I'm vegan! Flora is close enough.
