I'm new to the fixies world but I decided to build my own bike. I'm looking for a lightweight frame. I would like to use a carbon fork and light steel frame but I'm open to suggestions. I'd like to start with a frame that doesn't cost a fortune, something around 150/200 quid. Any suggestions on old frames or is there any professional maker amongst you who could help? Thanks very much and hope you are all well and safe.
Size? You could get a new Dolan PreCursa frame for that which would be a decent starting point. Or check the classifieds here. Handbuilt is a no no based on your budget and it being your first fixed.
I'm 6.1 so a 58cm? What about an old frame? Thanks Squaredisk! :)
