Not much rack building since I finished the last one, nor many updates.
Build a marin bear valley for a friend.
Bought that 853 pipedream off ebay. It was ran down to hell, headset and bb bearings needed changing, full strip down and rebuild and it needs some new tyres as these are F****D
Nicer bar and seatpost added, silver Ofcourse.
Should be a nice bike and provide the braking power the #marin1x1 does not in the wet / mud but still as fun and nippy.
Oh, it also fits 27.5 in the rear, 2.25 is a little too wide but 2.1 will be sweet....next summer maybe.

My "road" bike.
Bars / levers need sorting, just fettling with the set up.
I think I want some different bars.
It's so getting 2x set up soon, TA cranks, campy record shifters etc etc

A real roads bike is a good bike. I’m building my Tricross up with 32<35s and bits of Dura ac at the minute.

Very cool. 35s really are the best road tyre width.
Though they feel super skinny compared to the tyres on the CDF

Bike looks great Josh. Take some daylight photos of the bike for me!
@Arnomatic it is woven cotten edge band bleached artistically by yours truly and then double sided carpet tape for adhesion. I was planning on doing a run of different colours for my webshop but it is just too time consuming to make it a product worth making.
Also I wanted everything to be biodegradable, but my natural latex experiments failed drastically... And then Grepp came on the market and I gave up on the project -

This looks amazing. That dash of blue is tasteful af.

Blimey! Not the buy it now link I was expecting. Looks like I'm going to have to get my hands on edge band.
I work at a Jeans factory so have a lot of high quality denim available, always fancied giving it a go if I could somehow get the edges sealed. Cotton tape probably a simpler solution.
Remember seeing some of your tape experiments divided amongst the forum come to think of it, nice work!
