Grüne Spielerei. Had a walk in the woods of the Belgian Ardennes with the kids, guess I got my inspiration there.
Water colour and pencil. If you can't draw hands hide them 😁
Wow, she's getting better.
Oh wow seeing a real progression amazing 💥
Another self portrait
Me at work
Haha, very good :)
I'm starting to use colour at life class
This is so great. ^
Painted this one last night:
Remake of a 17th century painting by Georges de la Tour ("Magdalen of nightlight").
I really like your paintings. They have a distinctive feel. Empty faces in empty spaces - you can't quite tell what the figures are thinking.
Thanks, @brokenbetty. I don't paint faces because I don't have the skills for it. 😉 But also because I want my subjects to be potentially everybody.
@brokenbetty live the colour ones esp bottom left.
And. @WimVDD the Magdalen at midnight is great echo Betty's sentiment about the faces.
Hi peeps, I'm doing this in Crystal Palace
Colour matching tryout. (Shitty phone camera makes it even worse than it is in reality).
Edit: daylight pic
Some brighter colours
Love the turquoise one 👍.
@elpresidente this frog is great. Has your daughter started to look at other styles of drawing sketching?
This is great. All about That solid shadow!
I know it looks like a two headed monster dog now... 😁
I started painting class 3 weeks ago and this was just a quick "study" (for an oil painting I want to make) to see what colours work best.
