My girlfriend is looking to start using the turbo trainer while we're socially distancing but her bike has disc brakes with weird decathlon wheels.
The trainer is a Tacx wheel-on smart trainer; I don't suppose anyone here knows what kind of replacement axle I would need to get her bike compatible with the trainer?
Many thanks and good luck not going mad over the next few weeks/months.
Is it thru-axle? Looks like QR?
I'd guess a normal QR adapter would work - https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Tacx/T1402-Turbo-Trainer-Quick-Release-Skewer/M1
You're absolutely right.
Sorry for being stupid - had just assumed as it was disc it would be thru axle
No worries, did exactly the same for my last build too :)
makes it feel slightly better - pretty sure I would have spent £30 on a special thru axle for a turbo before even looking at her bike
Thanks for your help in any case!
