Time to move this one on, as great as it is I really need something more sensible for commuting
Moser Leader AX frame and fork, oversize tubing, fillet brazed, amazing pedigree etc etc
Paint is rather tatty to say the least, however no dents or structurals, aside from a strange semicircle (about 4mm diameter) area that I think has been drilled out at the back top of the seat tube, possibly there was a crack. This has the fortunate result that a seat clamp (which I'll throw in) can be used so you're not limited to the proprietary quill seat post ( though I'm sure this will still work )
Had the frame and fork checked and re-tracked at Argos.
28mm tyre clearance rear on a khamsin wheel,
25mm at the front with around 4-5 mm clearance (obviously will vary depending on tyre choice and rim width)
56 ctc top tube
57 ctc seat tube
15.5 headtube (1")
£150 collected from Bristol, may post at cost but preference given to collection
I'll get some more photos up soon, as you can see below I never realised it's full potential as what I really needed was a town bike. I'm sure someone can do it justice !
Very cool. GLWS!
Always loved these frames
Make it so.
I’ve still got this one in the basement
Although the downtube is snapped
Love that color scheme.
I keep coming back, looking, and reminding myself that I have other projects to finish.
Such a good frame
Stop it, you'll make me want to keep it :)
Also have a Moser pantographed quill stem can provide to go with the frame
God dammit I want this...
Keep looking at this. How has it not sold?
Will be moving to eBay if no one's interested ?
I wish that TT was 2cm longer! GLWS
Photo in drop bar mode ..
