Bought this on here a while back. Due to a combination of not knowing very much (at the time) and a shite testing environment ended up wasting £80 on it.
It works and sounds good. but pots etc. all need cleaning as lots of crackle when when changing settings and adjusting volume. The outside could do with a cleaning too.
I know how to do this but I have enough audio stuff already and it’s not going to be worth the time it takes me, so it’s free to collect from N4. If you’re feeling nice you can bring me a bottle of belvoir cordial.
Dibs but if you need it gone before the next weekend I am happy to let somone jump ahead of me, I just want to trial an amp where I can have music in two rooms, If I want.
No prob to hold it til the weekend if you want it. pm me to arrange collection please.
Sorry to hear this didn't go to plan for you mate.
I'd be more than happy to clean the controls for you and I'm amazed I didn't do it prior to the sale last time (did you say you were happy to do it yourself at home?)
My audio cave is a lot larger now for viewings, and, I too have learnt a lot in the year and a half or so since we met.
Really sorry if you feel shortchanged. It's a fantastic amp superior to most hitting the same price tag. It would sell fairly quickly on eBay/Gumtree despite it being a little below the radar and baring some cosmetic flaws.
Argh, I'm really gutted!
No worries. I don’t feel it was mis-sold or anything like that, just a result of my inexperience as a buyer at the time.
I wrote off the purchase price on this a long time ago (and have since picked up an F5a) so just happy for it go to someone who needs it.
