So I have this bike
Which uses a FSA No 42 Headset which has the following bearing specs:
Upper Bearing – MH-P08F (30.5 x 41.8 x 8 – 45/45) Has a small lip on inner chamfer, check drawing
Lower Bearing – ACB518K (40 x 51.8 x 8 – 36/45)
and a Chris King dropset 2 has the following bearing specs:
42mm 45x45 upper bearing
52mm 45x45 lower bearing
Compatible with our baseplate and 45 degree integrated crown races
So, could I use the standard bearing I already have which is Lower Bearing – ACB518K (40 x 51.8 x 8 – 36/45) and then the rest of the CK headset for the upper bearing and Patented GripLock® retention system?
I'm endeavouring to find out.
nice dad bike
