I am selling my old Rourke 653 frame. It’s not been used in a couple of years but with some TLC someone can enjoy it as much as I did!
Listing this as a project bike for two reasons:
I’m selling with:
Looking for £250 £175 as I need the space and would rather someone that has the resources can get this thing rolling again.
Collection from SE15.
Price drop £190
£190 for that is bonkers cheap. have a bump
What are the clearances on this? Mad bargain!
@Chak I’ll have a look tonight. Do you know what sizes specifically you’re looking for?
@Chak it currently has 25mm tyres on. You could probably get away with 28mm but I wouldn’t go larger than that.
The other option for the threaded BB is send it down to Argos in Bristol who will machine out the damaged section and braze or glue a new threaded insert in.
This retains the original BB shell.
My sister had this done on her bike last hear and Argos did a brilliant job.
(or threadless BB and sq taper cranks)
I like this. Have a bump.
Most good frame builders could do that I imagine....Dave at Colour Tech in Dartford would use the services of Geoff Roberts.
Last drop before we head off to the Bay.
Guessing headtube is 1 inch??
@picco it is
