August right? Keep meaning to emqil them for a quote on these
Yep. Similar but not identical to what I want to build.
Spotted this one by Fern
Good spot. I found a photo of another one on the Fern Instagram feed.
Interesting. Where did you find that one?
Isn’t that exactly what you wanted to avoid? A standard front flatmount fitment that needs an adapter
It's my less favoured option, yes. But it's interesting to see that other people are doing flat mount steel forks. Particularly smaller builders.
I have a problem reading anything written by Peter Verdone. The useful information gets drowned out be the self-congratulatory narcissistic bullshit.
Agreed, definitely a 'laugh or cry' approach to his writing but some good stuff in there provided your BS filter is strong enough
I don't know if you saw this:
flat mount and 12mm thru axle steel fork
either 376mm/45mm or 390mm/45mm
I hadn't, no. Very interesting - it's very similar to what I'm planning to do. Cheers!
Saw this fork and would love something similar for my ISEN, but with the oversized headtube and tapered steerer making a nice crown and steel legs tricky.
